Dues Questions
  • What do my annual dues cover?
    A full list of what your dues cover can be found in the Budget, but here's a quick breakdown:
        Annual weed abatement for the hillsides behind the homes
        Reserves (to pay for long term repairs to and painting of the soundwalls)
        Insurance 
        Administrative expenses (management, tax prep, mailings, legal fees, etc.)
       
       
  • Where do I mail my dues payment?
    Payments are due on January 1 each year and are late if they are not received by January 25th. Late payments will be charged a $10 late fee.
     
    Checks must be made payable to The Communities of Gale Ranch Owners Association and mailed to:

    Please remember to include your account number on your check for proper posting.
  • Can I make my dues payment online?
    Yes you can! Click here to go to the HOA Services Online portal where you can view your account balance, make a one-time payment, set up recurring payments, set or update your mailing preferences, and modify your homeowner profile! 
     
    The first time you visit you will need to register with your account number and email address. Your account number can be found on a billing statement or by calling HOA Services. 

General HOA Questions
  • What is an HOA?
    An HOA or Homeowner Association is a legal entity created to manage and maintain the common areas of a community. Typically these "common areas" consist of things like pools, clubhouses, landscaping, parks, streets and roads.
     
    HOAs can consist of single family homes, condominiums, or town homes and are typically setup by the original developer of the community with a set of rules called "Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions" otherwise known as "CC&Rs".
    One of the primary functions of the HOA is enforce and ensure that these "CC&Rs" are adhered to by the individual homeowners. The guiding principles of these regulations are normally to help maintain property values and the quality of life within the community.
  • Who do I contact if there is a broken sprinkler in the park strip landscaping?
    Please contact the City of San Ramon to report any broken sprinklers or irrigation problems. You can fill out a maintenance request for non-urgent requests or contact the City's Public Works Department via phone: 925-973-2800; After hours non-emergency dispatch: 925-973-2779 for immediate assistance.
